I have rarely felt so British: in the 2o cold, with enthusiastically-organised games like tug o'war all around, braziers, folk music and mulled wine. Did I mention the mud?







Patchfest is a twice-yearly festival put on by the community of the streets lining this long grassy piece of parkland. Our NCT pals live within the catchment area so we tend to end up going along biannually.

The snow thawed overnight - most peculiar; there wasn't a trace on Saturday morning - but it is still cold. Here is a bonus of me wearing my hat indoors.
